Another IPL player is now finding himself trapped in a controversy linked with an FIR. And this time, it is none other than the Punjab Kings star, Shashank Singh. An FIR has been filed against Shashank Singh, his father Shailesh Singh, and his driver. It has been filed by their cook, who was employed at their place for a brief period of time.

The cook has said that the trio physically assaulted and even abused during the time he worked at their place. The FIR has been filed in Bhopal, and the police has started an investigation in this case. Shashank Singh has immediately reacted to all the allegations which were made by the cook. He denied them and also called them baseless.

The PBKS player said that the cook was removed from the job following his poor behavior and misconduct. So the FIR which has been filed by him is due to the termination which took place. Shashank also showed confidence that the truth behind this will be revealed soon.

Our Take

Shashank Singh is finding himself in a new controversy right now. This will be posing some challenges to the player if the case is not closed before the upcoming IPL season. The same even happened with Yash Dayal, as an FIR was also filed against him last year. And this time, he went on to miss the Indian Premier League due to personal reasons.
