IPL 2026 to See Stricter Guidelines as BCCI Implements New Rules

BCCI has brought down some new guidelines for the IPL 2026 edition. And this might be changing a lot of things for the teams and even their practice sessions. One of these guidelines has restricted the teams from having any practice sessions during the match day.

Right before the IPL 2026, the BCCI has planned to make some changes to its guidelines and even bring out some new guidelines. One change is regarding the practice sessions which teams used to have right before the match.

The new guideline which has been added to the same is that there are no practice sessions allowed for teams on the match day. And more changes have been made to the floppies and sleeveless jerseys which the players wore. According to the new changes, players are prohibited from wearing the same during the post match presentation.

And to make things even stricter, the BCCI has also added fines if any breach takes place on these guidelines. Players who are found violating the floppies or sleeveless jerseys guideline once will be given a warning. If this happens for the second time, it will result in a financial penalty for the player.
