‌Shreyas Iyer was recently present in an interview with the former Indian cricketer, Irfan Pathan. Irfan is currently a part of the commentary panel in the Indian Premier League, as he had a talk with Shreyas Iyer. With Punjab Kings standing at the top of the table, Iyer has been able to dominate with his captaincy.
Amidst all this, he also recalled a moment where he first met with Irfan Pathan. It happened in the Indian Premier League, when the first edition took place. He said, “I was the ball boy in the first IPL season when you were playing for Punjab. You walked over and asked us how we were feeling. It was a very special feeling.”
Even Irfan Pathan could not stop himself from being emotional at this moment. He must not have thought that a ball boy from the first IPL season would be able to become one of the most successful captains in the tournament.

Our Take
