Shreyanka Patil has made her comeback to the team. And with her recent performances, she has also managed to make it to the T20 World Cup squad. Bharti Fulmali and Sree Charani are the fresh names which one would be able to find in this list, as the English conditions would suit such pacers well.
Our Take
The squad announced by the Indian team for the Women's T20 World Cup seems all-round. If you want aggressive batters, you have Richa Ghosh and Smriti Mandhana, if you want wicket-takers, you have Shreyanka Patil and Bharti Fulmali. And if you want a captain to lead from the front and take the team to victory, you have Harmanpreet Kaur. With a strong squad, it remains to be seen how the Indian team performs in the tournament, starting 12 July.
