Match Report

Sunrisers Hyderabad got off to a flying start, as Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head attacked the bowlers to put the team at 72/0 in the powerplay. Vaibhav Arora was able to break the stand by dismissing Abhishek Sharma, but Travis Head continued his aggressive approach. 
In the middle overs, Kolkata Knight Riders fought back with the help of Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy. They slowed down the innings by picking up key wickets, including Travis Head for 68. Heinrich Klaasen provided a late acceleration by scoring 41 runs, which powered SRH to finish at 189 for 6 in 20 overs. 
In reply, Kolkata Knight Riders started well, with Rahane anchoring the innings and Tim Seifert attacking the bowlers. But Pat Cummins took some wickets early in the game, as he removed both openers to shift the momentum. 
The turning point arrived when Nitish Kumar Reddy dismissed Rovman Powell and Cameron Green in quick succession, which put KKR under pressure. Rinku Singh tried to revive the team in this chase by scoring 46, but he didn't receive support from the other end. 
KKR needed 36 runs off the last three overs, as disciplined bowling from Cummins and Malinga helped them to finish at 174/8.
