But to everyone's surprise, they have managed to keep themselves alive till the end. Now the fate of KKR will be decided through their final league stage game which will be against Delhi Capitals. Yesterday, Kolkata Knight Riders went against Mumbai Indians, as Mumbai had the chance to beat them and knock them out.

With the match starting, it was quickly affected due to the weather conditions. Still, KKR bowlers took the early advantage and restricted Mumbai Indians to the score of 147/8 in 20 overs. Following this, the team chased down the target in 18.5 overs, to keep themselves alive in the playoffs race.
