He was dropped as the captain of the team back in 2021. Eventually, he also lost his place in the playing XI. Fans were also not happy watching all this happen, as Warner remained a key player for the team for a long time.
But now it seems that the tensions between David Warner and Sunrisers Hyderabad have escalated to a great extent. Warner posted a story on his Instagram account revealing the fact that he has been blocked by SRH’s official page. He even asked fans whether it is true or not?
Our Take
It must be hurting for Davi Warner to see that a franchise for whom he did every possible thing, ended up blocking him for no reason. Winning 3 Orange caps and one IPL title as a captain is enough to show the legacy of Warner with SRH. Still, it seems that the team has moved on from him as early as possible.
