Twitter Cant Keep Calm After Punjab Kings Break Losing Streak
Punjab Kings have finally ended their losing streak after six games. Yesterday, the team defeated Lucknow Super Giants to climb to the 4th spot. Captain Shreyas Iyer finished the game with a six, completing his century.
Punjab Kings went against Lucknow Super Giants in their final league game at the iconic Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. This match was crucial for the team to win, as it would have increased their chances of qualification. Punjab Kings won the toss in this game and they decided to bowl first.
Josh Inglis gave a good start to the team, despite wickets falling constantly at the other end. He also received support from Ayush Badoni, who played a fine cameo of 43 runs from 18 balls. Punjab Kings showed some discipline in the death overs, as Lucknow Super Giants finished at the score of 196 in 20 overs.
Unfortunately, Punjab didn't have a good start in the chase, as the team lost Priyansh Arya and Cooper Connolly for low scores. But Shreyas Iyer and Prabhsimran Singh held the team firm in the chase, as they stitched a 100+ run stand. Although Prabhsimran lost his wicket, captain Iyer finished the game with a six, completing his century.

Shreyas Iyer proved why he is the second chase master. Yes, the second, because we all know who the first is.

PBKS have finished their campaign but it doesn't guarantee a qualification. Their qualification depends on KKR and RR performances today.
Nice Question
Why are they celebrating like they won the IPL trophy 😭😭

A Twitter user really made some serious claims about the team's celebration. They were celebrating like they have won the title but that's how a team celebrates after ending their losing streak.
