After failing to acquire some of their desired targets, namely James Rodriguez and Nicolas Pepe, Napoli have turned their attention to Wilfried Zaha. The Italian club is willing to offer close to €60 million along with an enormous contract for the former Manchester United superstar.
Napoli coach, Carlo Ancelotti, has been open to talks about his club's activity and targets this summer transfer window. The former Champions League-winning manager admitted a serious interest in both James Rodriguez and Nicolas Pépé, with hopes that both deals could be done quickly.
However, with Pépé set so sign with Arsenal and Real Madrid's looking to keep Rodríguez, things have changed for the Gil Azzurri. According to Sky Sports, Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha is a top priority for the Serie A giants.
An opportunity to guarantee the 26-year-old's services has arisen, with the player reportedly interested in playing at a bigger club. Reports have been further linked the Ivorian to Arsenal, as it is Zaha’s dream to play at the Emirates. Nonetheless, with a move for Nicolas Pepe potentially on the books, a move by Arsenal does look out of reach.
