Spanish giants Real Madrid are reportedly willing to meet Ajax’s asking price of €55 million for midfielder Donny van de Beek. The midfielder was heavily linked with a move to the Los Blancos in the summer transfer window but in the end, he decided to remain in Amsterdam for another year.

Real Madrid are willing to make their move on playmaker Donny Van de Beek and are willing to shell out €55 million for the Dutchman’s services, as reported by Football Oranje. Van de Beek was subject to numerous speculations in the summer with a number of clubs interested in the player’s signature including Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain alongside Real Madrid were keen on the Ajax midfielder.

However, the 13 time UEFA Champions League winners have taken a step ahead and are willing to meet Ajax’s valuation. The report added that Real will only bring the Netherlands star to the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer of 2020 and not in the upcoming January window. Football Oranje’s further reported that Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur also want to bring the 22-year-old to the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

Jose Mourinho admires the Dutch player and has given his green light to purchase Van de Beek. However, it is said that the Ajax player is keen on moving to Los Blancos instead of any other club. Ajax parted ways with a number of jewels in the summer including Frenkie de Jong and Matthijs de Ligt after their terrific campaign last season where they won every domestic trophy including the Eredivisie and reached the semi-finals of UEFA Champions League.
