Chelsea starlet Callum Hudson-Odoi is all set to sign a brand new lucrative £100,000 a-week deal with the club, which comes along with a five-year contract. The young forward has been heavily linked with a move away from the club and was in the final year of his deal with the Blues.

Chelsea have finally managed to get starlet Callum Hudson-Odoi to sign a new deal with the Guardian reporting that the young winger has done as much. The 18-year-old gets an upgraded contract that will see him earn around £100,000-a-week and with a five-year contract to boot alongside his bonuses, which haven’t been revealed as of yet.

The move looked very unlikely at one stage with the young starlet looking to move on in order to find more game-time. However, despite persistent interest from Bayern Munich in their never-ending quest to sign the English international, Chelsea managed to rebuff any offers. What did make things a little dicey was the fact that Hudson-Odoi was in the final year of his old deal.

But the Guardian has further reported that Frank Lampard’s appointment as manager and Eden Hazard being sold and the transfer ban, have all given the 18-year-old hope for more game-time. Lampard has already revealed his intentions of finding a spot for Hudson-Odoi once he is fit, with the former Chelsea star talking glowingly about his young progeny.

“I am not going to say things that are pie in the sky but, with his talent, he can be central to this team and to England,” said the Blues’ legend. “He can show, right here at Chelsea, that he is going to be a world-class player. I truly believe that.”
