With a historic 7-2 loss against Bayern Munich, Tottenham are in trouble and they have not had it easy with doubts surrounding the Mauricio Pochettino's team. To make things worse, the club fear that they might lose some of their stars over the next few months, with belief in the project falling.

Since their historic achievement of reaching last year's UEFA Champions League Final, Tottenham have only managed to win 3 games out of 10 this season. So far during their 2019/2020 campaign, Spurs have already faced some historical losses, namely the defeat against Colchester for the Carabao Cup and the stunning 7-2 loss against Bayern at home.  That has caused a few issues for the club, with the Times reporting indicating that they fear they could lose Harry Kane.

The Englishman has been one of their best players, if not their best over the last few years. At Tottenham since 2011, Kane has been Tottenham's leader but despite the team's development in recent years, a lack of trophies might force the 26-year-old to look for a move to another team. The Times further reports that Harry Kane wants to be challenging for trophies at this stage of his career and is not prepared to take part of a rebuilding project.

Tottenham has been building their team through a process of stability and belief in a structure that has been together for almost 6 years, led by Mauricio Pochettino. But the team's performance this season has been raising some questions: is Tottenham's project in need of a rebuild?
