Erling Haaland is likely to get a new partner in Manchester City's attack, as the team continues its deals with Viktor Gyokeres. Haaland has only scored one goal in the Premier League till now.

Over the past few games, it has been clear that Manchester City is struggling to score goals in the competitions. Currently, the team has been the sixth leading goalscorer in the Premier League, scoring even fewer goals than Brentford, and tying their spot with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The team's form has seen a downfall in the last few games, with Erling Haaland being able to score just one goal in the Premier League till now. This shows that the team requires some changes in their attacking positions, as Haaland has scored just twice in the last 8 games he played.

The decline in the team's recent form has been mainly due to the injury of Rodri, who was a perfect back player. Ever since his injury, their defence has been more vulnerable, giving them fewer chances to attack on the opponent side. Some reports have said that the team is putting in more effort for the deal with Viktor Gyokeres.

Gyokeres is one of the best strikers for the Sporting Clube, and he has been linked with a transfer to Manchester United over the past few months. Along with that, he has also worked with Ruben Amorim previously, which could help him to get a reunion and also become a partner for Erling Haaland.
