Al Ahly talks about the links of Cristiano Ronaldo's transfer to the team in January, as his contract with Al-Nassr comes to an end. They prepare for the 2025 FIFA World Cup, where they'll be facing Lionel Messi's Inter Miami in the Group clash.

Cristiano Ronaldo's contract with Al-Nassr is coming to an end in January 2025, and the star footballer is expected to watch out for the other clubs if his contract is not extended by the team. Amidst all this, it was reported that Ronaldo might be looking forward to joining the team Al Ahly in the January Transfer Window.

The reports suggested that the team has been linked with his transfer to the Club of the Century, as they want the former Real Madrid player to be their attacking options. This will further help the team to strengthen their line-up ahead of the 2025 FIFA World Cup. The team is expected to mark their statement on the global stage, as they go against teams like Inter Miami, SE Palmeiras, and FC Porto in the Group A games.

Various reports also suggested that Group A has been set to have an encounter between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, due to which Ronaldo is being linked with the transfer.

However, it has been reported that Ronaldo might not move to Al Ahly in the upcoming season due to his high demands. Talking about the same, the sources of the team said,“Any team would like to sign Ronaldo, because he is a big name and a football legend. But Ronaldo's name was not put on the negotiating table with Al Ahly, and the marketing and contractual value of the Portuguese star is very large.”
