Real Madrid showcased an impressive performance in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup final clash against Pachuca, which helped the team to lift the title. This match was also an opportunity for Kylian Mbappé to mark his comeback after returning from an injury, and he made sure to utilise it well.

Being played at the Lusail Stadium in Doha, Qatar, Mbappé scored a goal for Real Madrid in the first half of the game. This is also the same stadium where Mbappé scored a hat-trick in the FIFA World Cup finals against Argentina, despite his team being on the losing side in the penalty shootout.

In the FIFA Intercontinental Cup final against Pachuca, Mbappé gave a great start to the team by scoring in the 37th minute. This was followed by two more goals in the second half, which were scored by Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr respectively. Just a day after being crowned as the FIFA Men's Player of the Year, Vinicius Jr took a penalty kick for the team.

On the other hand, Pachuca made various attempts to make a goal but unfortunately failed in all of them. This allowed Real Madrid to take the advantage and secure a clean-sweep victory.
