Manchester United is set to overhaul its squad next summer, potentially offloading 11 players including Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford, Casemiro, Jadon Sancho, and Harry Maguire. The move could save £2.1million weekly in wages. Fernandes can leave for £57m, while Rashford, Casemiro, and others face uncertain futures. United aim for a top six Premier League finish and possible European qualification.

Doing the next phase of their squad rebuild, Manchester United are planning a major overhaul, with up to 11 players potentially leaving next summer to fund new signings. Midfielders are the main focus, amid uncertainty over Bruno Fernandes and Kobbie Mainoo. Fernandes has a clause allowing him to leave for £57m after six-and-a-half years, with a decision expected post-World Cup.

Mainoo’s loan request was blocked, and he has yet to start a Premier League match this season. Other key departures could include Marcus Rashford, Casemiro, and Harry Maguire, who are among the few players earning over £300,000 a week. Rashford could move to Barcelona for £30m, while Casemiro’s contract is expected to expire, and Maguire’s future remains uncertain. Jadon Sancho, on loan at Aston Villa, may also leave, along with back-up goalkeeper Altay Bayindir and striker Joshua Zirkzee, who has not scored a Premier League goal since December 1.

Tyrell Malacia is likely to depart unless sold in January. The club aims to save up to £2.1million per week on wages and strengthen the squad with potential signings including midfielders Elliot Anderson, Adam Wharton, and Brighton’s Carlos Baleba, along with a goalkeeper and wide player, depending on the futures of loanees Radek Vitek and Harry Amass. United target a top six finish in the Premier League, with European qualification boosting their budget.
