FC Barcelona are considering selling Ferran Torres to fund a stronger attack. The club wants to retain Robert Lewandowski and Marcus Rashford, while targeting Julián Álvarez. Torres, 26, has 16 goals this season, including 12 in LaLiga, but has not scored since January 31.

As the transfer window approaches, FC Barcelona are reportedly preparing to reshape their attacking lineup by potentially selling Ferran Torres. The club views Torres as the most expendable option among their current forwards, especially with Lamine Yamal and Raphinha considered untouchable in the squad.

Barcelona are keen to secure Marcus Rashford on a permanent deal from Manchester United for around €30 million, while also planning to extend Robert Lewandowski’s contract despite interest from MLS clubs. Additionally, their long-term attacking target is Julián Álvarez, who is reportedly open to leaving Atlético de Madrid.

To fund these moves, Barcelona are willing to listen to offers for Torres, whose contract runs until 2027, making this summer a key opportunity to generate transfer revenue. Although the 26-year-old has had a solid season with 16 goals overall, including 12 in LaLiga, his form has dipped in 2026, with just three goals and none since January 31. The club’s ideal plan would see Álvarez lead the attack, with Lewandowski as backup, significantly reducing Torres’ role.
