Diler Delhi went to script a one-sided win against Mumbai Che Raje by 56-35 points in the first game of the fourth day of the inaugural season of the Indo-International Premier Kabaddi League in Pune. In another lopsided game, Chennai Challengers beat Telugu Bulls by a huge margin of 51-29 points.

Sunil Jaipal-led Diler Delhi from the front in the first game of the day as they went to dominate against the team from Mumbai from the very first quarter of the match. At the end of the first 10 minutes of the match, the Delhi team was leading by only a couple of points with the scorecard reading 14-12 in their favour. However, the second quarter was more one-sided and at half-time, Delhi was leading by 26-17 points.

Mumbai couldn’t manage to bounce back into the game even after the break as in the next two quarters, the team from the national capital mustered 30 points while Mumbai managed only 18 and eventually lost the game 35-56 in the end. Sunil Jaipal’s raiding prowess ensured a Player of the Match for the experienced player.

In the South Indian derby later in the evening, it was the team from Chennai that asserted dominance against Telugu Bulls. Chennai Challengers started the game on a brilliant note by taking a huge 12-point lead in the first quarter itself. They didn’t look back from there and the Bulls got no chance to make a comeback in the match. The Challengers were leading by 28-13 points at the end of the first half.

In the third quarter, Chennai dominated again while there was some fight shown by the Bulls in both the departments in the final one which was not enough for them to win the match and eventually Chennai won the match by 51-29 points. Being the most productive raider in the match, Sunil Kumar was adjudged the Player of the Match.
