Schedule for India’s tour of Zimbabwe announced

The BCCI today confirmed the schedule for India’s tour of Zimbabwe in the month of June. Soon after the end of the IPL, India will travel to the African nation to face-off against the hosts in three ODIs before playing three T20Is, following which they go without a single T20 for almost a year.

The complete schedule of the tour is as under -

All the matches will be played at the Harare Sports club in the capital city.

India had previously toured Zimbabwe in 2015 in July just after the last edition of the IPL. They had, however, sent a second-string squad that did not include heavyweights M S Dhoni,Virat Kohli, and Shikhar Dhawan. Ajinkya Rahane had captained the side which won the three-match ODI series 3-0 and drew the T20 series 1-1. Ambati Rayudu had picked up the player of the series award in the ODI series despite playing only the first two ODIs, while Chamu Chibhabha took the award for the T20 series.
