In an ironic turn of events, Kedar Jadhav, who missed an easy run out opportunity in the SRH innings, was dismissed after a good knock thanks to a sensational throw by Ben Cutting from deep fine leg. The wicket came against the run of play when RCB seemed to be cruising towards victory.

The first match has already produced a splendid moment for cricketing fans across the globe. The match had already seen a couple of brilliant batting displays from Moises Henriques and Yuvraj Singh but they had to take the back seat to the exceptional fielding efforts of Ben Cutting, who produced a magical moment to turn the game into SRH's favor.

On the 4th delivery of the 12th over Jadhav scooped the ball over the fine leg and immediately gave Head a call for two. Cutting ran towards his right from the deep square leg, collected the ball, and aimed the stumps at the striker's end. Not only was his powerful throw aimed at the right end but was dead on in terms of accuracy as well as the ball dislodged the stumps on the full.

Even though the decision was referred to the third umpire, Jadhav expression suggested that he knew the innings was up. The third umpire just confirmed Jadhav's fears as the replays confirmed him to be well short of the crease.
