IPL 2017 | Preview Match 10: Mumbai Indians vs Sunrisers Hyderabad
Bowling-heavy Sunrisers Hyderabad will take on batting powerhouse Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium today. Sunrisers are on a two-game winning streak while Mumbai are on a high after successfully scoring 60 off 24 deliveries required to beat Kolkata Knight Riders in their previous outing.
Mumbai were boosted by the return of their Sri Lankan death over specialist Lasith Malinga but Ambati Rayudu's injury has left them a middle order batsman short. Nitish Rana's form will come as a comfort to the home side as well as the bowling displays of Krunal Pandya and Harbhajan Singh.
Hyderabad's already impressive bowling attack will see the return of their golden boy Mustafizur Rahman, who is available for selection in this game. Their attack, consisting of the Bangladesh youngster, Ashish Nehra and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, won them the title last year but it has been the Afghan teenager Rashid Khan who has hogged the headlines so far. Their batting depth hasn't really been tested so far as Moises Henriques' consecutive half centuries have not put any sort of pressure on the middle order.
Head to Head
Mumbai have squared off with Hyderabad on eight occasions since the latter came into existence in 2013. Both teams have won four games apiece but Mumbai finished on the wrong end on both occasions last season. However, Mumbai have a terrific record against Hyderabad at the Wankhede, winning both matches played there.
Last Meeting
It was the Shikhar Dhawan show the last time the two went head to head in the IPL. The India opener scored 82 off just 57 balls to set Mumbai a target of 178. MI collapsed, losing seven wickets before crossing the 50-run mark. Harbhajan Singh was the top scorer for Mumbai with an unbeaten 21 as Hyderabad won the game by 85 runs.
Predicted XI :
Mumbai Indians : Parthiv Patel (wk), Jos Buttler, Rohit Sharma (c), Nitish Rana, Krunal Pandya, Kieron Pollard, Hardik Pandya, Harbhajan Singh, Mitchell McClenaghan, Lasith Malinga, Jasprit Bumrah.

Key Players :
Krunal Pandya (MI): The all-rounder was exceptional with the ball in the last game against KKR at the Wankhede where he finished with 3/24 in his four overs. He chipped in with 11 runs off 6 balls and Mumbai will be hoping to see the same from the 26-year-old.
Moises Henriques (SRH): He has been the symbol for consistency this season, scoring two unbeaten half-centuries so far. Although he hasn't had similar success with the ball, Henriques' batting displays are enough to put fear in the hearts of the opposition.
