A signed jersey of Virat Kohli and other Indian players was auctioned on Monday in the United Kingdom and the 4300 Euros of raised money will be donated to former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi’s foundation. The Indian jersey was gifted to the Afridi by the Indian players on his retirement.

Any India-Pakistan matches always make headlines for their intensity and the neck-to-neck performance of the players. But off the field, the players are known for their friendly relationship. During the retirement of Shahid Afridi, Indian players showed their love and support as they sent a number 18 Virat Kohli jersey for the 37-year old that had a message in Kohli's handwriting saying,"To Shahid Bhai, best wishes, always a pleasure playing against you."

The jersey had signatures of Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Ashish Nehra, Jasprit Bumrah, Suresh Raina, Pawan Negi, Mohammad Shami, Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ajinkya Rahane, Shikhar Dhawan, R Ashwin, Hardik Pandya, and former coach Ravi Shastri.

The signed jersey now auctioned at UK and the money will be donated to Boom-Boom Afridi’s charity going by the name of Shahid Afridi Foundation. Kohli also presented an autographed bat to Afridi, which also was auctioned for the foundation. The jersey and bat raised 4300 Euros which will go to the organisation to fulfil a noble cause. Afridi himself was present during the event.

After the auction, Afridi shared his token of gratitude for the Indian skipper by posting a "Thank you" message on Twitter to which Kohli also responded back with similar gratitude.
