Virat Kohli is known for being a fitness freak and always maintaining a high level of fitness both on and off the field. Ahead of the second ODI between Sri Lanka and India, which takes place tomorrow, the BCCI has shared a video of Kohli’s intense gym regime with head trainer Shankar Basu.

Virat Kohli’s incredible fitness is one of his trademarks and his journey from a chubby young cricketer during his early days to now being perhaps the fittest player in the Indian side. He has often been used as a motivational story for his legions of fans and the Indian skipper once again provided the masses of the country with some serious work out goals in a video which was shared by the BCCI on their official Facebook page.

Ahead of the second ODI against Sri Lanka which takes place in Pallekele tomorrow, the 28-year-old was seen sweating it out in the gym with head trainer Shankar Basu. And as expected Kohli’s workout regime is not easy, to say the least as it consists of stretching, followed by two sets of barbell thrusters, two variations of muscle snatch, two sets of barbell rows, two sets of barbell lunges, and 20 push ups.
