Bangladesh put up a fight on day 3 courtesy of brilliant and courageous knocks from Shakib al Hasan(82) and Mushfiqur Rahim(81*), but the follow-on still looms large. Tha day though was not without its usual share of bloopers thanks to Ishant Sharma, Umesh Yadav, Sanjay Manjrekar and Mushfiqur Rahim

Bangladesh managed to salvage some pride on day 3 with Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim and the young Mehedi Hasan getting half-centuries. The visitors are still 165 runs behind the follow-on mark, but their batting today ensured they wouldn't lose their first Test in India by a humongous margin. However, only tomorrow will tell whether the hard work they put in will result in something of a memorable fightback from them or a one-sided defeat. While the second half of the day finally showed some of the resolve and talent the visitors possess, the day showed a lot more - Sanjay Manjrekar, Ishant Sharma and the rest.
