There is no doubt that Virat Kohli is one of the greatest batsmen of the current era blessed with immense cricketing intelligence and an incredible ability to time the ball. However, when a simple drive down the ground ended up going for a six, even the Indian captain couldn't hide a cheeky smile.

In their final match of the season, against Delhi Daredevils, Kohli produced a shot that left even the Indian captain surprised. On the first ball of the ninth over, Corey Anderson bowled an in-swinging ball to Kohli that the RCB captain came out to face and tried to guide down to long off for a single.

However, without any bat swing or even any follow through, Kohli hit the ball with the full face of the bat and his forward push ended up in the Delhi dugout. Even the 28-year-old couldn't help but smile at what he had just pulled off as scored his first six of the night. Even though Kohli is known for his impeccable timing, it appeared to more of an exhibition of the growing disparity between bat and ball.

Kohli ended up scoring his fourth fifty of the season as RCB set the home side a target of 162 in 20 overs.
