Chennai Super Kings came back after 2 years and when given a chance to build their team from the scratch, they opted to buy tried and tested players who are 30 and above. The Twitterati went mental as CSK did not go for any of the younger players who were available in the season's auction.

What a day of the mega-auction had today as players from all countries found a new home for themselves in different parts of India for two months in 2018. Some picks were surprising, some were unexpected but most of all it was CSK's senior citizen approach that was the biggest shock of the day. All in all, it was a day with many surprises and twists which will need a solution once the proceedings start again tomorrow.
