When it comes to DRS, the first name that comes to mind is MS Dhoni - the master observant who almost gets everything right when it comes to DRS. While batting, Dhoni reversed the decision once again but he decided to consult Hardik Pandya before going upstairs to challenge the call.

In the final limited-overs game of the tour, the ball started turning as if it was at the Wankhede and the duo of Adil Rashid and Moeen Ali didn’t give the Indian batsmen any easy chances as the former even went on to dismiss the trio of Virat Kohli, Dinesh Karthik and Suresh Raina in one spell. Moeen Ali also got inspiration from his partner as he tested Indian batsmen.

Dhoni, who has been struggling against spinners recently, also couldn’t pick the variation of Moeen Ali instantly. The fourth ball of the 32nd turned more than MS Dhoni expected and went past Dhoni’s defense past the inside edge and struck him on the back pad. On first look, it seemed like hitting the stumps and umpire also raised his hand to signal the same.

However, Dhoni was unsure about the dismissal and consulted his partner at the other end, Hardik Pandya that should he go for the review. After getting the all-rounder’s consent, Dhoni went upstairs and as it turned out, the big screen showed that the ball missed the leg-stump and MS Dhoni was safe.
