Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah have been recalled to the ODI team while Mohammad Shami has been dropped from the squad that will face the Windies in the last three matches of the ongoing series. India are scheduled to play Jason Holder & Co. in the next ODI at the MCA Stadium in Pune.

Virat Kohli & Co. were held to a draw in the second ODI in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday as a fine partnership between Shai Hope and Shimron Hetmyer helped the visitors earn a well-deserved draw. The Indian team certainly missed the services of death-over specialists - Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah, who could have changed the outcome of last night’s game had they been in the squad.

Now, BCCI selectors have recalled the services of the seasoned pair for the last three one-dayers against West Indies in the ongoing series. While the introduction of Bhuvi-Bumrah will certainly please the Indian captain, it comes at the cost of the exclusion of Mohammad Shami, who was very expensive in the first ODI in Guwahati and lacked the incisiveness as well.

India squad: Virat Kohli(c), Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Ambati Rayudu, Manish Pandey, MS Dhoni, Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, K Khaleel Ahmed, Lokesh Rahul, Umesh Yadav
