Tom Moody has stated that Kane Williamson and Khaleel Ahmed are now fit and ready for the next game against Delhi Capitals on April 14. However, it will be a challenge for the team management to find places for the duo considering the measured performance of the team against Kings XI Punjab.

After Williamson suffered the injury, Sunrisers Hyderabad applied the safe approach of excluding him in the first few matches, which became possible for the simple fact that their four overseas recruits have been performing well this time. Similarly, Sandeep Sharma and Siddarth Kaul have done fairly well for Hyderabad, and the team didn’t have to miss the services of Khaleel Ahmed in the team. But in good news for the franchise, Moody reveals that Kane Williamson and Khaleel Ahmed are ready for the next game against Delhi Capitals in Hyderabad.

“Back in Hyderabad, have a few days off before our next match against #DC (14th). Chance to freshen up, reflect and improve for the business end of the tournament,” Moody posted on Twitter.

He further added on the same thread, “Yes, Kane will be fit for our next match! As will Khaleel.”

Hyderabad lost back-to-back matches against Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab, and the team will try to get back into the groove against mercurial Delhi Capitals.
