Ravichandran Ashwin and Mankading have started to share a romance between them as the spinner once again attempted to Mankad a batsman, but instead gets mocked by some crazy dance moves. Shikhar Dhawan was well aware of Ashwin’s antics and gave his home crowd a moment to cherish.

Delhi Capitals were cruising towards the target with Shikhar Dhawan being the wrecker-in-chief. After Prithvi Shaw’s early fall, Dhawan was taking the game away from KXIP’s grasp with flair and was well supported by Shreyas Iyer at the other end. Amid all the action, the moment that gave the crowd worth a laugh, was Dhawan’s antiques directed towards R Ashwin.

The incident occurred on the third delivery of the 13th over, when DC were well placed at 108 for 1 and running away with the game. Dhawan looked unstoppable and the only way to put the brakes on his run was to send him back to the hut. This was a similar situation for Ashwin where he got Jos  Buttler out with a similar act.

While putting in the hard yards, the Punjab skipper stopped and gazed at the non-striker’s end hoping Dhawan to be out of the crease, but the southpaw pipped him in this race. While Ashwin returned back to his bowling crease to prepare for the next ball, Dhawan bent on his knees, probably in a hope to pull off something special. What followed was Dhawan’s crazy dance moves on the next ball to make fun of the “Mankad Master”, which left the crowd laughing their heart out.
