Krunal Pandya has stated that the series win was a result of a combined team effort and singled out Washington Sundar for his incredible bowling display. The man of the match from the game was very happy about his own performance too and admitted that the wicket was assisting the spinners.

The senior Pandya weaved his magic - both with bat and ball - and was the main man behind India winning the second T20I to seal the series, with one game to spare. It helped as the pace bowlers took early wickets to mount pressure on the Windies team and when Krunal Pandya came into bowling, he had a fragile middle-order in front of him. Pandya credited the entire team for the success and rightfully so.

"It is important that your fast bowlers pick early wickets as it makes our job quite easier. If they are two or three down, we can come and bowl to the middle order. Washington bowled well in both the games. Bhuvi is a world-class bowler, everyone knows about it. It is good that everybody has contributed to the team whether it is batting or bowling. Overall it is a good team performance," Pandya was quoted as saying by India Today.

After giving the perfect finishing touch to the team’s total with a classy 20 runs off 13 balls, Pandya downed two Windies batsmen to land India another victory. It was the final push in both of those occasions that really helped the team’s cause but he added that the wicket was conducive for spinners.

"I am quite happy the way I have bowled. (In) the first game I bowled four overs and in this (second) game I bowled three overs. The wicket was slightly helping the spinners. It was a good confidence booster when you represent your country. It was a great experience playing in the USA.

"You should never give up and you should love what you are doing. Still, the mindset is the same as when I was six and started playing cricket because I used to love the game. Love the game and rest will fall in its place," he added.
