It looked like India were heading in the direction of yet another collapse, but Ambati Rayudu, Vijay Shankar, Kedar Jadhav, and Hardik Pandya took up the responsibility and steered India to a respectable total of 252. The Twitterati couldn't stop raving about the performances from these players.

Here are the tweets:

Oh boy, this guy expected Rayudu to fail. He was in for a huge surprise!

Indian fans after India were 15-3!

People did not expect Rayudu and Vijay Shankar to play such a calm innings! A welcome surprise!

But, Vijay Shankar had to walk after a huge miscommunication between him and Rayudu in the middle!

The real reason behind that run-out!

And then Hardik Pandya came in and did this!

BCCI, please send all the out of form cricketers to Koffee with Karan!

Rayudu has been the pick of the batsmen in this series!

So many Rayudu critics have been silenced!

Dhoni masterclass yet again!

What a start to 2019 for Team India!
