It was a historic day for Shakib Al Hasan as he became the first Bangladeshi player to pick 5 wickets and score a 50 in the same match which was achieved by Yuvraj Singh before. He also became the first Bangladeshi batsman to score 1000 runs in the World cup. This is how the Twitterati reacted.

Brief scores: Bangladesh 262/7 in 50 overs (Mushfiqur Rahim 83, Shakib ul Hasan 51; Mujeeb ur Rahman 3/39, Gulbadin Naib 2/56) beat Afghanistan 200/10 in 47 overs (Samiullah Shinwari 49*, Gulbadin Naib 47; Shakib Al Hasan 5/29, Mustafizur Rahman 2/32) by 622 runs

Or is it Yuvi in disguise?

Give him the award already!

As many times as you can!

He can be proud of this achievement!

First Bangladeshi to do it!

Now that is impressive! But is he the GOAT? Have heard of Sachin Tendulkar?

Are you even human Shakib!?

Spoken like a true commentator!

Can you call him a GOAT!?

Now this I can consider!
