After a disappointing outing this season, Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers have recorded a heartfelt video to their loyal fans promising to do much better next season. RCB have won just four out of 13 games this season and take on SRH in their last game on Saturday.

Royal Challengers Bangalore have had an underwhelming run in the ongoing 12th edition of the Indian Premier League. The Bangalore-based franchise were touted as favorites to make the play-offs ahead of the start of the tournament but endured a disappointing start as they lost first seven matches on a trot. However, Virat Kohli-led RCB did better in the second half of the season as they managed to win four of their next six matches.

As RCB gear up for their final match of the season against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Saturday, Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers recorded an emotional video for the loyal RCB fans who have stuck by their team throughout the season despite the miserable run.

"RCB fans, thank you so much for the support throughout the season, you guys are incredible. Virat will agree to the fact that the last game with the rain, it was only a 5-over game but one of the most memorable games in my life and it wasn't even the result. Thanks to you guys.

"Sorry about the up and down performances, we are hoping to finish on a high. Please keep supporting us, it keeps us going. Hoping something special is coming in the last game and next season," AB de Villiers said.

Kohli, who is set to lead India at the 2019 ICC ODI World Cup later this month, promised to do everything next season to ensure that they turn things around and repay their fans love and support.

"One game left for the season, it's been disappointing for us and for all of you but as we do every year, we are going to come out and do everything next season to turn it around.

"This has to be a special message for you all because even after three hours of a game being washed out, you still sit in the stadium and give us the loudest cheer when we walk out to bat. It's special and it's always going to be special in our hearts and minds. Thank you for being the best fans that you are," Kohli added.
