Shikhar Dhawan and Bhanuka Rajapaksa were at the same end during Punjab Kings' IPL 2022 game against Delhi Capitals on Monday, but luckily none of them lost their wicket after a crazy incident. It was largely due to a panicky throw by Lalit Yadav, who was bowling the fifth over of PBKS' innings.

Punjab Kings (PBKS) got off to a flyer against Delhi Capitals (DC) on Monday after coming to chase 160 at Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai. They had raced to 38/1 at the end of four overs, with Jonny Bairstow falling after scoring a brisk 15-ball 28. Bhanuka Rajapaksa came to bat at No. 3 and joined Shikhar Dhawan, who was batting on run-a-ball nine.

The fifth over was bowled by Lalit Yadav, DC's first attack with a spinner tonight. The fourth ball was full on the stumps, which Dhawan flicked towards midwicket and chaged down the ground for a single. However, Rajapaksa from the non-strikers end did not move an inch, and at one point, both batters were at the same end.

But then, Lalit picked up the ball and released towards Rishabh Pant in a hurry. He was panicking, and as a result, the ball sailed wide of the DC captain and ended up at gully. Rajapaksa, after watching all that, completed the run.

WORST!

WHAT WAS THAT?

LALIT WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?

WHAT THE HELL!

MISSED!

LOL!

HAHA!

SO EASY!

NOT GOOD AT ALL!
