Bangladeshi bowlers are renowned for their animated send-offs, often involving a few words or a piercing stare. This was evident in the Super Eight game between India and Bangladesh when Tanzim Hasan Sakib dismissed Virat Kohli after his crucial knock and gave him a fiery stare as a send-off.

‌Brimming with confidence from their winning streak, the Indian side was put to bat first after Najmul Hossain Shanto chose to bowl. Openers Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma got off to a flying start. After Rohit’s dismissal in the fourth over, Rishabh Pant and Kohli carried the batting, with the former RCB skipper leading the charge and bringing the score to 71/1 in eight overs. Unfortunately, Kohli’s innings was cut short in the next over when Tanzim Hasan Sakib dismissed him.

On the first ball of the ninth over, Sakib delivered a slower ball to Kohli. The Bangladeshi pacer came over the stumps and bowled a 114.3 km/h off-cutter, perfectly pitched on the off and middle stumps. Trying to smash it across the line, Kohli charged down the pitch and gave himself some room. However, he misjudged the ball's line, and it sneaked under his bat to rattle the stumps.

As a dejected Kohli began his walk back to the dugout, a fired-up Sakib celebrated with an intense stare at Kohli, his aggression evident. This moment quickly sparked discussions on Twitter, with fans reacting to both Kohli's wicket and Sakib's fierce celebration.
