The stage of Indian Premier League has given birth to plenty of future cricketers and Jake Fraser-McGurk is definitely knocking at the Australian selectors door. However, he was unfortunate to leave the season with a poor score despite a rosy outing as Arshad Khan got the better in the first over.

‌KL Rahul won the toss and surprisingly elected to field first in Arun Jaitley Stadium, where most teams won batting first. The change to bring Arshad Khan in the XI worked well in his favour as Arshad Khan corrected his line and length to induce a huge jolt in Capitals camp in the first over itself. An in-form Fraser-McGurk was embarrassed on a batting track, leaving him with a silver duck in their season’s last game.

On the second ball of the first over, Arshad bowled on a good length around the fourth stump line that the batter tried to smack down the ground as he always tends to do at the start. Fraser-McGurk ended up getting hit at the top half of the blade and the ball swirled towards fine of long on where Naveen-ul-Haq took a regulation catch. Immediately, captain Rahul was seen delighted with the early breakthrough, leaving the Twitterverse crazy.
