Bowlers often display a range of celebrations, from calm and composed to intense and emotional. A perfect example of this came from Indian captain Jasprit Bumrah during the second session of the fourth day at Perth, when he was involved in a heated celebration after dismissing Travis Head.

‌Australia's overnight pair, Usman Khawaja and Steve Smith, began the day with Australia in a precarious position, but Khawaja was dismissed early by Mohammed Siraj. Smith and Travis Head briefly stabilized the innings, taking the score to 78/4, before Siraj struck again to remove Smith. Head and Mitchell Marsh then began to build a partnership, with Head reaching a half-century by lunch, as Australia stood at 104/5, still needing 430 runs to win. After lunch, Marsh and Head accelerated, pushing the score to 139/5 in 35 overs, with Head playing a solid knock of 80 off 88 balls. However, the most anticipated moment for the Indians came in when Bumrah scalped Head and involved in a feisty celebration.

On the fifth ball of the 39th over, Bumrah came around the wicket and bowled a well-placed delivery in the channel outside the off stump. The ball, pitched on a good length and angling in, found Head's bat as he failed to move his feet adequately. As the ball straightened slightly off the pitch, Head got an outside edge, and Rishabh Pant took a simple catch behind the stumps. The dismissal sent Bumrah into a frenzied celebration, as he charged toward Head, yelling with his fist clenched, clearly pumped up by the breakthrough. The slip fielders jumped in joy, and Virat Kohli, never one to shy away from the moment, could be seen shouting in celebration, using a few choice words as India secured the crucial wicket. Twitter was abuzz with discussions about the bowler's fiery celebration and the impact it had on the match.
