There’s a saying, “What comes goes around, comes around”. Mohammad Rizwan was batting too well to get dismissed in Pakistan’s first innings if not for karma to strike after selling Noman Ali down the river in a runout act on the second day's morning session against the West Indies.

‌The overnight batters of Pakistan, Saud Shakeel and Rizwan resumed their cautious act against the West Indies spinners in the second day's morning session after a delayed start. While the pair kept the visitor bowlers at bay for the first hour, Shakeel departed post drinks, making way for a series of wickets that included the run out of Noman in the 62nd over.

Following a widish delivery on the 62nd over’s third ball, Kevin Sinclair bowled a fuller at the stumps to Rizwan who tapped off a forward lunge and premeditated for a run. From the non-striker’s end, Noman complimented the quick run and reached halfway through the pitch when Rizwan sent him back seeing a steaming in silly mid-off fielder. Soon, the fielder made a throw towards the wicketkeeper who instantaneous threw it back to the bowler who whipped the bails in a jiffy before Noman could make ground.

While Rizwan and Noman were completely unhappy with the runout mishap, karma struck Rizwan on the next delivery. Sinclair dropped the length on the good area at the stumps and Rizwan tried to reverse sweep him. However, the right-hander missed making a contact and got beaten on the edge to wear the ball on the pad. Eventually, he challenged the on-field decision of out but ended up walking off the field disappointed. The Twitterverse was quick to draw label with the karma philosophy striking Rizwan for running out the tail-ender.

Just Pak Things!

Karma Rizwan!

Gonerrr!!

Oh Dear!

Well batted!
