Sunrisers Hyderabad have finally secured their first win of the IPL 2026. The team went against Kolkata Knight Riders in their last encounter, where Nitish Kumar Reddy stole the spotlight. The youngster had already impressed several individuals with his all-round skills in the game.
When SRH batted first, the top order was able to give a strong start to the team. Eventually, Nitish Kumar Reddy partnered with Heinrich Klaasen to give a strong finish to the team. He alone went on to score 39 runs off just 24 balls with 4 fours and one six. SRH finished their innings scoring 226/8 in 20 overs.
Later in the chase, Nitish Kumar Reddy was also handed the ball. He changed the entire momentum by dismissing Rinku Singh for 35 runs, and also taking the wicket of Anukul Roy in the same over. With two wickets and 39 runs with the bat, he went on to receive the POTM award for his performances.
