Twitter Goes Wild as KL Rahul Completes Brilliant Hundred vs PBKS
KL Rahul has now bought up his sixth IPL hundred, keeping Delhi above Punjab in the recent game. As the match continues, Rahul also dominates the PBKS bowlers with ease. Moreover, he has also levelled with Chris Gayle for having the most tons in the Indian Premier League.
KL Rahul has returned to his IPL home-ground in style, as he dominated well against Punjab Kings. While Punjab has maintained its position at the top being the only team with no loss, Rahul would be the main reason for their first one if the team loses today. Winning the toss in this game, Delhi Capitals decided to bat first and this is where the real carnage began.
Even though Pathum Nissanka lost his wicket early, KL Rahul continued to dominate the bowlers at his ease. He went on to complete his half-century in just 26 balls. And within the next 21 balls, he was able to notch up his sixth IPL century. Staying till the end, Rahul has managed to give Delhi an upper hand in this game already.
Moreover, he was also able to make a number of records to his name. With this century, he has now levelled with Chris Gayle in the most tons in the IPL. Along with that, he has also overtaken Virat Kohli in the Orange Cap race for this season, as he takes the cap with him.
Here's how Twitter has reacted to his century.

We all wanted the Vintage version of Virat Kohli or Rohit Sharma. But watching KL Rahul like he played in the T20Is before COVID wasn't in the Bingo cards.
Costly Drop

When KL Rahul was at 10 runs, his catch was dropped by Shashank Singh. He will be getting a huge scolding for that catch drop.
