Romario Shepherd recently participated in the Winner Stays showdown. He had to pick the best finishers in the game in a rapid fire round, and it was expected to be tough. But when the name of MS Dhoni came into the list, Shepherd knew his final answer.

Right before the Indian Premier League begins, the players are also busy giving their hot takes. Recently, Romario Shepherd participated in an interview, where he had to name the best finisher in the game. But it was conducted as a rapid fire round, as he would be given names and had to choose one.

It started with Kieron Pollard and Andre Russell. Definitely a tough choice but Shepherd went with Russell. He even chose Russell over Dinesh Karthik and Hardik Pandya. But as soon as the interviewer dropped the name of MS Dhoni, he immediately named the captain cool as the best finisher in the game.

Several other names were also said in this rapid fire, but the answers given by Romario Shepherd remained the same. He chose Dhoni over players such as Bevan, Klusener, Braithwaite, and even Jos Buttler. Several fans are praising Romario Shepherd for his elite knowledge in the game, knowing Dhoni's value as a finisher.

Our Take

Without any doubt, MS Dhoni has been considered as the best finisher in the game by several players. Even Romario Shepherd, who has been a finisher for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, hailed Dhoni's presence as a finisher. A major reason behind the same could be the fact that Shepherd witnessed Dhoni's aura in the RCB vs CSK clash last season.

The last time RCB and CSK faced each other, Romario Shepherd showcased his dominance. He became a true finisher for the team, scoring 53 runs off just 14 balls, including a 30+ run over against Khaleel Ahmed.
