Manchester City are all set to complete a move for Juventus full-back Joao Cancelo with out of favour star Danilo moving the other way. The Cityzens have been heavily linked with a move for the 25-year-old this summer alongside Manchester United, but no move has materialized as of yet.

Manchester City hasn’t spent a lot of money this summer, atleast when taken in consideration with their other summer windows under Pep Guardiola. They may have broken their transfer record by bringing in Rodri but barring that, the Cityzens haven’t really added any stars. Not that they need it, but that hasn’t stopped players from being linked with a move to them.

However, the Daily Mail has reported that Manchester City are set to complete a move for Joao Cancelo this summer in a deal worth around £32 million. The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from Juventus this summer despite only arriving last summer from Valencia. The report further adds that Danilo will move the other way, with Pep Guardiola’s quest for a world-class full-back officially completed.

The 25-year-old was reportedly not happy in Turin, with the Mail adding that the defender’s attitude issues caused a few problems. Furthermore, it has also been reported that Cancelo wasn’t a part of Sarri’s plans, which makes the move a mutual one. It does also mean that Kyle Walker will now have competition for his place, but given that the Portuguese star can play on both sides, Oleksandr Zinchenko will have to be careful as well.
