Arturo Vidal has no intentions of leaving Barcelona this summer, amidst speculations of the Chilean linked with a move to Inter Milan. The 32-year-old signed for the La Liga giants last summer and went on to win the title in his debut season, becoming a first-team star under Ernesto Valverde.

Arturo Vidal is unlikely to leave Barcelona this summer reports Sport, despite reports indicating that the Chilean would be more than interested in signing for Inter Milan. The 32-year-old only joined the La Liga giants last summer from Bayern Munich in a deal worth around £27 million, signing a three year deal with the club.

He went on to win the La Liga title in his debut season with Barcelona, establishing himself as a first-team star ahead of the likes of Denis Suarez, Oriol Busquets, Rafinha, and even Carles Alena. That was partly thanks to Ivan Rakitic’s struggles with form and Arthur Melo’s adjustment period, which might change things this season. Combine that with the arrival of Frenkie de Jong now, and Vidal drops down the ladder, despite the fact that the former Ajax midfielder is touted to be Sergio Busquets' long-term heir.

That has seen Gazzetta report that the Nerazzurri are very keen on a move for the 32-year-old midfielder, although Spanish news outlet Sport has rejected that claim. They report that Vidal is more than willing to fight for his place at Barcelona and with Valverde happy to keep him, the Chilean is happy to stay.
