Leicester City are set to win the chase for Hull City star Jarrod Bowen with the Foxes looking to add reinforcements in January. The 22-year-old winger has been in sensational form for the Tigers and already has 15 goals in just 22 Championship matches with one eye on his career best 22 goal mark.

Leicester City’s 2019/20 season so far has been nothing short of brilliant with the Foxes doing exceptionally well to battle Liverpool and Manchester City for the title. However, given their squad depth and with a few players underperforming, reports have indicated that the Foxes will splurge a little money during the winter window. They’ve been linked with a move for a back-up central midfielder and another winger with Demarai Gray struggling to hit the mark.

However, while links to Jarrod Bowen had been mere rumours, the Mirror has reported that the Foxes have raced ahead in the battle for the 22-year-old. Leeds United, Newcastle United and Southampton are all keen on a move for the Hull City star but the report from the Mirror further added that Leicester are pushing hardest to land him over the January transfer window.

The 22-year-old has had a fantastic start to his Championship season with Bowen already finding the net 16 times in just 22 appearances and has his eye on a career best total. The forward finished last season with 22 goals and is set to surpass that mark well before the end of the season. His potential combined with the forward’s form has seen Hull City demand nothing less than £10 million with Leicester open to that fee.
