Reports | Tottenham offered Angel Correa as part of Kieran Trippier’s Atletico Madrid deal

Tottenham have been offered star Angel Correa by Atletico Madrid as the La Liga side look to make a deal for Spurs star Kieran Trippier. The English international is on his to complete his medical with the Los Rojiblancos after a fee of around £20 million was agreed for his move to Spain.

Tottenham are set to lose Kieran Trippier to Atletico Madrid despite the Metro reporting that Diego Simeone still has doubts over the Englishman. However, with the fee of £20 million agreed between the two sides, the English international is on his way to Spain for his medical on Wednesday.

But to sweeten the deal even more or make it cheaper for Atletico, the club have offered Angel Correa.  The Argentine has been made available and Tottenham have been offered the chance to sign the 24-year-old, although Sky Sports has revealed that it’s unclear whether or not Tottenham want to sign Correa.

The Argentine made his debut for the in 2015, finishing last season as a regular star. Sky Sports further adds that Spurs have transfer-listed Trippier as Pochettino looks for new additions. Both Juventus and Napoli have also been linked with a move but it does look like Atletico Madrid will win the race for the 2018 World Cup star.

The North London side are looking to sign at least one right-back having also transfer listed Serge Aurier the Metro has revealed, with Norwich City star Max Aarons and Marseille’s Hiroki Sakai amongst their top targets.
