Napoli are the latest side joining the race to sign RB Salzburg's star Erling Haaland with Manchester United and Barcelona also keen on the 19-year-old striker. The Norwegian starlet has had a sensational season so far, with 18 goals in just 11 appearances for the club despite joining in the summer.

Napoli entered the race to sign the 19-year-old striker Erling Braut Haaland the striker that has captured the attention of the nearly every major European club. According to Corriere dello Sport, Napoli joined a list of clubs that have been monitoring Haaland, namely Manchester United and Barcelona. According to the same source, Ancelotti is also keen on other Salzburg's gem, the 18-year-old creative midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai.

However, it’s the teen sensation Haaland that has hit the news with the young striker scoring 18 goals in 11 club appearances this season. This includes a 45 minute hattrick on his Champions League debut against Genk. In the process Haaland became the third-youngest player to score a hat-trick in the competitions, behind former Real Madrid legend Raul and Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney.

The Norwegian starlet has a contract with the Austrian side until June 2023, and it's uncertain how much Salzburg will be willing to accept to let the young striker go. But it seems inevitable that Haaland will be in at a major European side in the near future.
