Paul Pogba is set to resist Manchester United’s attempts to try and convince him to stay at the club, including rejecting any contract offers. The Frenchman wants to leave Manchester and while no move did materialize during the summer, Pogba still believes he can get his dream move to Real Madrid.

If the Neymar saga played a big part in the summer window, then Paul Pogba’s will he won’t he saga played an equally large part. It has seen no end to the rumours and reports linking the Frenchman to every European side in the world, although Real Madrid and Juventus have shown a genuine interest in the midfielder.

No move ever materialized in the end, with both clubs eventually stepping out of the race, but that may not be the end the Pogba drama with the Mirror reporting that the Frenchman will reject any offers to stay at Old Trafford. The report adds that Manchester United are hoping that they can secure the World Cup winner’s services with a long term deal, a deal that Pogba will eventually reject.

The report adds that the 26-year-old has told Red Devil boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer he will be 100% committed to the club, despite believing that his future lies at Real Madrid. This does cause a slight problem for Manchester United, as Pogba's current deal has two years left on it and that means that any move has to happen before next summer.

The Los Blancos were his top suitors during the summer window, eventually stepping out of the race because they could not afford United’s £180 million valuation of the midfielder. That has caused a few problems between Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane and president Florentino Perez, despite the Los Blancos spending close to £300 million this summer.
