In the end, the saga came to a whole lot of nothing with Neymar opting to stay and see out his contract with the Ligue 1 giants, but rumors have emerged that Barcelona will try again. Reports have indicated that a move for the Brazilian will happen again next summer, which has seen Barcelona striker Luis Suarez confirm that Neymar was keen on a move this summer.

“We discussed it at the moment when Ney wanted to leave. Everyone knew it. Lionel Messi and I told him, ‘at the individual level, take the decision you want to. But as a player, as far as a club, and as far as awards, you will always have it at Barcelona’. But well, those are decisions.
