Jose Mourinho has claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo will keep scoring goals at the age of 50 after the Juventus star had yet another impressive game for Portugal. The 34-year-old scored his second four-goal haul for his country, with his first coming against Andorra in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

With 93 goals for his national team, Ronaldo is well on his way to break the record for most international goals. The Juventus superstar has surpassed Robbie Keane's record for most goals in Euro qualifiers, and is getting close to Ali Daei 109 goals for Iran, reports the Daily Mail.  That has seen a few shockwaves ripple through the footballing world but in an interview to Portuguese news channel "Canal 11", José Mourinho has revealed that he's not surprised by Ronaldo's performances.

"What Cristiano does not surprise me. At 34, he is a top player, who plays in a top team and has top ambitions. It does not surprise me because he is a case study in genetic terms, and mentality as well. When he is 50 years old he will be at home and FIFA will invite him to a game of legends. He will play the game and score a goal. I am sure it will be like that." said Mourinho told Canal 11.

They both been on the same team, sharing the dressing room from 2010 to 2013, but their relationship was not always a good one. After his departure from Madrid, a lot of words were exchanged between the two, blaming each other for the Los Blancos' lack of success. However, they are already on good terms for quite some time and have nothing but respect for each other.
